Hello. I am Cagatay Duru, Sophomore Electrical & Electronics Engineer

I am started to this journey in very young age. I was 10 years old when I started to learn programming. I was doing some Minecraft mods in Java. After that i started to use Game Maker Studio but unfortunately the projects are gone. After that in High School I started to learn C# and Unity3D. I was developing some simple games. But proferssionally i am using Unity for 1.5 years. I was also learning Unreal Engine and C++.

Games I Developed

About the Game
These games are developed for mobile platforms. I developed these games to improve myself on Unity3D environment and mobile integration. While try to start a Mobile Game Start-Up I developed these games to show my skills to investors. But thing dont go as I planned :P

What I learned?
  • • Unity3D environment fundamentals
  • • Controllers on mobile as touch, swipe operations etc.
  • • GameObject components like Rigidbody, collider, Mesh Renderer etc.
  • • UI Components like Canvas, Panel, Buttons etc.
  • • Scene Management for different levels
  • • Mobile integration of the game like anchoring etc.
  • • Unity concepts like raycasting, TextMeshPro, scriptable objects etc.
  • • Implementing ASO and learned how mobile games ads work(CPM A/B Test etc.)
  • About the Game
    This game for a Game Jam. We developed this game in 48 hours. The theme of the game jam was "Ankara". We developed this game with 3 people. Unfortunately we didn't finish the game in time(as such story and some levels). But we learned a lot from this game jam. It was about a goat that was trying to make a flood in Ankara. It has some physics based puzzles with raycasting.

  • About the Game
    This is a game We developed for a contest. We developed this game in 1 weeks. We developed this game with 4 people. I was responsible for the game design, level design, game mechanics, game balancing, game art and game programming. I have learned animator, light system (URP) and tile map throughout the project. This is an ongoing game project. We were in second place in the contest. The theme of the game was "Saving Trees". It is a 3D Adventure game with some puzzle elements. The game is about a hero that was trying to saveforest from enemy forces.
